North Fork Autobahn Society is holding a bird walk along Orient Beach on Jan. 1.
The group will meet at 9 a.m. in the Orient Beach State Park parking lot. Led by Rick and Linda Kedenburg, they will be looking for winter birds, ducks and snowy owls.
Those interested should dress warmly and wear waterproof shoes. In the event of rain or snow, the walk will be canceled.
