Elaine I. Cork of Calverton died January 6, 2015. She was 80 years old.
She was born on February 11, 1934 to Edward Kalberer and Grace Lutz in Brooklyn.
She went on to marry Louis D. Cork and work as supervisor at A&S Department Store in Huntington.
She leaves behind her husband, Louis; her daughters Melinda Young of Riverhead and Kimberly Kennedy of Patchogue; her son Stephen of Calverton; her brother, Everett Kalberer, of Setauket and three grandchildren, Krystal, Michael and Zachary to remember her.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, January 8 at 12 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Wayne Padula. Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery.
