Cops: Man found with cocaine, ammunition, arrows

An East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania man was busted in Greenport after he was found in possession of cocaine, ammunition and arrows on Sunday, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Kevin M. Howell, 42, was arrested at 7:25 a.m on Route 25 after being stopped for a traffic violation.

Howell was found to be in possession of three bags of cocaine and 530 rounds of .223 caliber ammunition, as well as a compound bow and several arrows, police said.

He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, police said.

Howell was transported to Southold Town police headquarters for processing, was released on bail and issued a court date, police said.
