Cops: Baiting Hollow woman busted for DWI in Mattituck

A Baiting Hollow woman was cuffed after she was caught driving drunk in Mattituck just after midnight last night, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Anastasia Yakaboski, 26, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, at 12:04 a.m. on Route 48 and Shirley Road, after she was seen driving west in the area of Westphalia Road and failing to maintain her lane, crossing over the solid white line onto the shoulder.

Yakaboski was stopped and was said to have the “odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath”, police said. Yakaboski failed standardized field sobriety tests administered at the scene and was found to be intoxicated, police said. She was placed under arrest and transported to Southold police headquarters to be processed and held for arraignment.
