Crazy Fork reopens next week with full liquor license, new menu offerings

Fans of the Crazy Fork on Main Road in Mattituck who’ve been counting down the days till the eatery opens again for the season won’t have long to wait: After a winter hiatus, the Crazy Fork opens next Friday with new additions and a full liquor license.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Crazy Fork will open on February 13 with a special menu including lobster tacos, shrimp tacos, oysters Rockefeller, sea wrapped scallops wrapped in bacon, snow crab cocktail, lobster mac and cheese, mussel, seared duck breast with raspberry demi glaze, New York strip steak with carmelized onions and mushrooms, breaded pork chops, sesame tuna and lobster and shrimp scampi.

To christen the new full bar, patrons are asked to bring their own glass, because the eatery is still a single serve restaurant, and meant to use paper products.

“But we invite everyone to bring a wine glass or beer mug if they choose to want to drink out of real glasses,” said server/dining manager Tanya McDowell.

After Valentine’s Day weekend, the Crazy Fork will open the following weekend with its regular menu, which will feature some tempting new additions, she said.

Beginning next Friday, the restaurant will be open Friday though Sunday from noon to 9 p.m., and open seven days per week during the summer season.

The Crazy Fork is located 10560 Main Road in Mattituck. For additional information, call 631-298-1100
