Marie T. Grassi of Riverhead died February 7, 2015 at Eastern Long Island Hospital. She was 73 years old.
She was born on August 8, 1941 in Brooklyn to Giacomo Virgadaula and Angelina Denaro.
Grassi worked as a clerk for Form Plastics of Carle Place, NY. A member of the Italian American Club of Peconic, she had previously been affiliated with the American Legion Auxillary of Carle Place.
She is survived by her husband Vincent of Riverhead; her children, Vincent of Elkins Park, Penn., Craig of Huntington and Angela of Colonie, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A service will be held at St. John’s on Thursday, February 12 at 9:45 a.m. Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery.
