A woman said she fell asleep at the wheel and hit a utility pole on Route 25 in Cutchogue last night, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Elissa Schlick, 46, of Greenport was heading west on Route 25 and Pequash Avenue at 9:23 p.m. when the accident occurred. Schlick was transported by Cutchogue Fire Department to Eastern Long Island Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
