For the second night in a row, the crowd danced for hours at the Nile Rodgers FOLD Festival, held at Martha Clara Vineyards.
Last night’s show included Duran Duran and Chaka Khan; Duran Duran’s new single, “Pressure Off,” which also features Janelle Monae, is a fusion of electronic dance music and each artists’ unique sound, was co-produced by Rodgers.
Reflecting on the warm welcome he received from both festival goers and the town, Rodgers, who gave another stellar performance despite injuring his leg the night before, said he’s excited for 2016 already, when he plans to bring a three-day show back to Riverhead.
“I’m ecstatic,” he said. “Last night was a night I’ll never forget, so magical and special,” Rodgers said.
