One man was sent to the hospital after a rollover accident on Main Road in Southold this morning, officials said.
According to a firefighter at the scene, the two-car accident took place at approximately 8:30 a.m. near the North Fork Animal Hospital on Route 25; the male driver of the Jeep that overturned onto its side was taken to Eastern Long lsland Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after he self-extricated from his vehicle.
The female driver of the other vehicle refused treatment, officials said.
No charges were filed, officials said.
Southold Fire Department rescue responded to the scene.
