Main Road is closed in both directions in Jamesport due to downed power lines following a single-car overturn crash between Herricks Lane and Manor Road.
The road will be closed until a PSEG crew arrives to repair the lines, according to Riverhead Town Police. A crew is expected between 7 an 9 a.m.
A vehicle overturned in the roadway and hit a utility pole at about 2:50 a.m., police said.
The driver of the vehicle was not seriously injured and was not charged in the incident, according to police.
PSEG is not currently reporting any outages in the area, according to its online outage map.
