The Halloween fun continued into the night on the North Fork today, with children of all ages donning costumes and marching in parades in both Cutchogue and Mattituck.
The Cutchogue Fire Department hosted its annual “Children’s Halloween Parade,” beginning at the Cutchogue West School on Depot Lane and ending at the Firehouse with treats and refreshments.
The Mattituck Lions Club presented its annual “Parade & Monster Mash,” beginning at the Mattituck Firehouse. New this year was a stand-up, open photo booth. A party followed after the parade at the Mattituck High School gym, including a light show, DJ, food, and a costume contest for kids in categories 0 to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 8 and 9 to 12.
