Open audition dates for NFCT’s “Becky’s New Car,” Dec 12 and 13

Screen Shot 2015-12-01 at 1.28.55 PMAuditions for the NFCT’s production of “Becky’s New Car” will be held on Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13 from 2 to 4 pm. The theatre is located at 12700 Old Sound Avenue, Mattituck.

Show dates will be from Fridays, March 4th to  Sundays, March 20th.

Character descriptions for the roles in “Becky’s New Car” include:

BECKY: Someone who can play mid-forties to fifty and can play a woman who is warm and friendly whom the audience will immediately love. (p. 9-10; 12-14)

JOE: Also mid-forties to fifty. Someone who is stable and comfortable with himself. (p. 30-32)

CHRIS (male): Someone who can play 18 to 22. Kind of a flighty college student who is just beginning to experience the world. (p. 12-14)

WALTER: Someone who can play a man in his sixties who is a successful business man who is still a little hesitant and unsure of himself. (p. 17-18)

KENNI (female): Someone who can play 18 to 22 and will play opposite Chris. She is confident and expansive. (p. 34-35)

STEVE: He can be 30 to 50. Still trying to find his way in the world. (p. 15; 26-27)

GINGER: A woman who can play someone in their sixties. She’s a little jaded. (p. 34-36)
