The Southold-Mattituck-Greenport NJROTC hosted its sixth annual Area Four regional drill competition yesterday at Mattituck Junior-Senior High School.
Twelve schools from New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York traveled to Mattituck for the competition.
First place overall went to Passaic County Technical Institute, while neighboring Riverhead High School took home second place overall honors (and a total of seven trophies).
As the host of the competition, the Southold-Mattituck-Greenport unit did not compete for trophies in yesterday’s event, though some squads did participate. See photo slideshow below.
