“An East End office will bring the wide range of constituent services that my office provides a little closer to home for eastern Long Island residents,” Zeldin said in a press release. “If you are struggling with a federal issue or agency, or have any questions or concerns, I encourage you to contact and take full advantage of my East End office.”

Zeldin’s district office staff assists constituents with a wide range of federal issues, including veteran’s affairs, Social Security and Medicare, health care, housing, immigration, active military, post office, 9/11 Fund, and homeland security, according to a press release issued yesterday announcing the new office. The staff works with all levels of government, on issues including law enforcement, quality of life, the environment and infrastructure, the release said.

New York’s First Congressional District encompasses all of eastern Suffolk County, from Smithtown and Patchogue on the west to Orient and Montauk on the east.  Zeldin, a freshman Republican seeking re-election this year, lives in Shirley with his wife and two daughters. He maintains a full-time district office at 31 Oak Street in Patchogue (Tel. 631-289-1097) in addition to his office in Washington, D.C. (Tel. 202-225-3826)
