The 4th Annual Charitable Giving Concert has been postponed due to the winter storm to Feb. 9, 6-10 p.m.
Gene Casey & The Lone Sharks and Who Are Those Guys at will perform at Martha Clara Vineyards Friday night in a dance concert to benefit East End food pantries.
The 4th Annual Charitable Giving Fundraiser is sponsored annually by the Riverhead law firm Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo, in partnership with Suffolk County National Bank.
Tickets are available at the door for $30. Complimentary light fare from Petulant Wino Catering and one glass of wine is included, as well as soda and water. Admission also includes 25 tickets to the chinese auction, and a door prize ticket. Groups of 10 may purchase tickets in advance for $20 each by calling Charlene Cheshire at 631-727-2180 ext. 317 above.
The door prize is the first print (in a limited edition of 100) of an original oil painting by North Fork artist Laura Stroh. The painting itself will be sold at a silent auction at the event. The other 99 prints will be available for sale at $20 each.
The event held each winter for the past several years, has helped the firm and bank raise $10,000 for local food pantries.
Beneficiaries of the event this year are: the Long Island Council of Churches Food Pantry and Open Arms Care Center Food Pantry in Riverhead, Community Action Southold Town (CAST) Food Pantry in Greenport, Human Resources of the Hamptons Food Pantry in Southampton, and Springs Food Pantry in East Hampton.
