Snow mixed with freezing rain later today will create hazardous driving conditions across the region, the National Weather Service said in a winter weather advisory issued for eastern Suffolk County this morning.
The winter weather advisory for eastern Suffolk is in effect from 1 p.m. to midnight.
Snow will develop this afternoon and mix with sleet and freezing rain this evening as temperatures rise, according to the weather service forecast.
