Becky’s New Car, “a comedy with serious overtones” opens tomorrow night at North Fork Community Theatre.

Becky Foster is caught in middle age, middle management and in a middling marriage — with no prospects for change on the horizon. Then one night a socially inept and grief-struck millionaire stumbles into the car dealership where Becky works and Becky is offered a new lease on life.

“Becky’s New Car is a thoroughly original comedy with serious overtones, a devious and delightful romp down the road not taken,” NFCT says.

The Steven Dietz play, directed by Bob Kaplan and produced by Susan McCabe will be presented March 4-6, 11-13, and 18-20. Curtain times Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:30. There will be an opening-night reception with Raphael wine tastings at 7 p.m. on March 4.

Tickets: $15 ($12 student rush 10 minutes before curtain)
