Mattituck students will take the stage this month to perform Don Zolidis’ 2012 play The Election, a comedy about a high school student council election that parodies a real-life grown-up presidential campaign.
When high school junior Mark Davenport decides his college resume could use some padding, he runs for student body president, never guessing how hilariously ugly the campaign would become–complete with blood-thirsty media, a slick campaign manager and political action committees.
Show dates are April 14,15,16 in the Mattituck High School Auditorium, 15125 Main Road, Mattituck at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets are available at the door.
