Want to be in a music video? Brady Rymer is looking for volunteers at this Memorial Day’s Greenport parade

Brady Rymer, two-time Grammy nominee and children’s music artist, is looking for volunteers for a music video he’s recording in Greenport this Memorial Day.

After learning about the Greenport Fire Department’s restoration of its 1933 pumper truck “Ole 33,” Ryder said he “couldn’t get the story out of his head.” He decided to write a song about the project and the firetruck’s history.

Called “It’s A Beauty,” the song gives an upbeat history of the truck from the pumper’s point of view. It will be part of Rymer’s album “Press Play,” which will be released June 24.

Included in the song is the history of the first fire the truck fought at the church on Front Street, the pumper falling into disrepair and its restoration into a gift to the Greenport community, where it takes children for rides around town.

At the Greenport Memorial Day Parade, Rymer will shoot a music video with members of the Greenport Fire Department and, of course, the “Ole 33” fire truck herself.

Rymer is looking for volunteer families to perform as extras in the music video. If you’re interested, you can contact Bridget Rymer at bridget@bradyrymer.com or 917-208-8417.
