Local musicians: Send in your videos for a chance to perform at the FOLD Festival

Joe Jonas, Earth Wind & Fire Bette Midler and more will join Nile Rodgers on stage at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead Aug. 12-14.

Calling all Long Island musicians!

The East End Arts Council’s FOLD Festival Emerging Artists Project has announced that one soloist and one band will be chosen to perform on stage each day of the FOLD festival.

Bands and solo musicians are invited to submit a 3- to 5- minute performance video for consideration to have the chance to be selected to perform on stage at the FOLD Festival in August 2016. All applicants must be age 18 or older to be considered.

Submit a video for consideration to perform on stage at the FOLD Festival, August 12-14, at Martha Clara Vineyards on the North Fork.

The deadline to apply is June 26, 2016. Finalists for consideration will be notified by July 15. Those selected to perform will be notified by August 1.

The winners will get to perform on the same stage as Grammy Award-winning, all-star international talent at the 2016 FOLD Festival scheduled for August 12, 13, 14 at Martha Clara Vineyards.

One solo artist and one band will be invited to perform two songs each day of the FOLD Festival. Selected artists must have all their own equipment.

After the committee of music professionals screens the submissions, the final bands/soloists who will perform on stage at the FOLD Festival will be selected by Nile Rodgers, multi-Grammy Award-winning composer, producer and musician.

This year’s all-star line-up includes Bette Midler; Earth, Wind & Fire; CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers; KC & The Sunshine Band; The Village People; DNCE featuring Joe Jonas; and many more.
