Traveler Street in Southold is closed this morning for repaving.
The road is closed from Horton Lane to Youngs Avenue, and is expected to reopen before noon.
“It would have been finished by 9 a.m., but we had a two-hour delay due to rain,” Southold Town Highway Superintendent Vincent Orlando said.
The post office, which has an entrance on the Traveler Street, remains open and can be accessed through Feather Hill plaza.
