A Greenport bicyclist hit by a car on Route 25 in East Marion was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital yesterday.
Police said Kenneth T. Finne, 51, was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by George H. Fitzpatrick, 74, of Orient at about 12:40 p.m. yesterday.
Finne was transported to Eastern Long Island Hospital and transferred to Stony Brook, police said. Fitzpatrick was uninjured. No criminal charges are expected but detectives are investigating, police said in a press release.
