The fall is a season of bounty on the North Fork, but for some, food isn’t so abundant. Community Action Southold Town hopes to ease that need with its food drive this weekend.
The CAST food drive is scheduled for Saturday, October 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations: Greenport IGA, Southold IGA, Cutchogue King Kullen, and Mattituck Marketplace (formerly Waldbaum’s).
CAST’s food pantry is a valuable resource that helps struggling families stretch their monthly budget by providing basic food items. It’s open to residents of Southold Town. Please stop by CAST at 316 Front Street, Greenport to register.
The food pantry is open:
Monday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Tuesday: 3 to 5 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
