Running for a good cause: Southold Athletic Association hosts annual 5K and fun run to benefit food pantry

The Southold Athletic Association held its 7th annual 5K and Fun Run Saturday morning in Southold. More than 200 runners competed in the race, which benefits the North Fork Parish Outreach food pantry in Greenport.

Sixteen-year-old Justin Lake of Cutchogue finished first for the second year in a row with a time of 18:02.  Suzy Heffernan of Cutchogue was the first female over the finish line with a time of 20:00. All results can be viewed here.
