Santa Claus is making a special stop at Southold Town Hall.

The jolly old elf will be on hand Saturday, December 10 from 11:30 to 1 p.m. to spend some time with Southold boys and girls of all ages.

Every child who comes to meet Santa will receive a special gift from Santa himself.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities for family members to take photos (but no official photographer).

Southold Town Hall is located at 53095 Main Road in Southold.

If your little one wants to write a letter to Santa, the Southold Town Recreation Department will gladly forward all children’s mail directly to Santa at the North Pole.

Drop your letters off at Santa’s Mailbox — the red one — at the town recreation center or mail them to: Santa Claus c/o Southold Town Recreation Department, P.O. Box 267, Peconic NY 11958.

To ensure a reply from Santa, letters must be received by Friday, Dec. 16. Late-arriving letters will not be answered, as it does take some time to forward them to the North Pole.

Due to the volume of letters received, the town is accepting letters from Southold Town residents only.

Remember to include a return address.
