William Floyd 63, McGann-Mercy 38

McGann-Mercy boys lost to William Floyd 63-38, in a non-league matchup at McGann-Mercy High School yesterday.

Mercy could not get it going, especially after losing two players to injuries in the first half, one of which was a nasty spill by Mercy’s John Venesina, who  came down hard and was removed by ambulance to the hospital to be checked out.

Mercy boys will face Riverhead on Monday at 4:30 p.m. at Riverhead High School.
