Greenport defeated Mattituck 66-34 at Greenport High School last night.
Greenport’s Ahkee Anderson was a compact tornado that blew through the gym. He sank five three-point shots and totaled 23 points in the game. He shot at will from all over the court, draining three point shots with ease.
Mattituck did all it could to keep up with the fast-paced Greenport squad, but when the smoke cleared after the first half, it was 44-18 Greenport.
The second half was no easier for a tired Mattituck team as the Porters continued to sink basket after basket.
When the final seconds ticked off the clock, the score read 66-34 Greenport.
