Stuff the Sleigh 5K draws big crowd to Cutchogue for exercise and charity

Over 200 runners and walkers took to the streets of Cutchogue Sunday morning for Cutchogue Fire Department’s annual Stuff the Sleigh 5K and children’s fun run.

Daniel Dern, 45, of Shirley came in first with a time of 19:11 and Gabrielle Russo, 20, of Patchogue was the first woman over the finish line with a time of 20:35.

All runners were requested to bring a new unwrapped toy to be be donated to Southold Town CAST.

Proceeds from this event will go to the Cutchogue Fire Department Scholarship  Fund, The Fire Fighters Cancers Support Network and the American  Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
