Hate wrapping presents? Running out of time before the big day?

Donna Fiumano of Mattituck is the answer to your prayers.  She and her team will do all the wrapping and ribbon tying for you and all she asks for is a small donation for Community Action Southold Town.

When Fiumano read that CAST was short on gifts for needy kids this year she felt terrible and wanted to do something to help.

Although it was too late to coordinate any kind of effort to get more toys for this Christmas, she came up with an idea to help out anyway.

“I’ve done fundraising in the past and when I read about the toy drive it made me want to do something. So I’ve organized a gift wrapping event and 100 percent of the money we raise will go to CAST.”

Fiumano, along with several friends and her son, Jonah, will be at the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library’s community room this Thursday armed with wrapping paper, bows and ribbons. Anyone is welcome to bring in their own unwrapped holiday gifts and Fiumano and her team will get them wrapped up and ready to put under the Christmas tree.

Fiumano asks that anyone who wants their gifts wrapped make a cash donation to CAST.

The wrapping event will run from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 22. at the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Free Library.
