Who doesn’t love to be read to? Turn your listening ears on and come on down to Greenport Elementary School’s Family Literacy Night Thursday, Feb. 16.
Students in grades K to 6 are welcome to join in the fun from 6:30 to 8 p.m. There will be reading centered games and stories read aloud by teachers. Kids will also be able to participate in a craft relating to the story.
This is a great way to help students develop their listening and language skills while having a social get-together. Remember, a love of reading is a lifetime of enjoyment.
