Southold’s 12th annual Relay for Life set for June 2 at Jean Cochran Park

Teams of volunteers from the North Fork will walk the track at Jean Cochran Park in Southold again this spring in Southold’s 12th annual Relay for Life.

Relay for Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, raising money for cancer research, patient care services, education, prevention initiatives and more.

The North Fork’s Relay for Life event has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society each year since 2006. Individual walkers and teams raise funds in the community to support their participation in the all-night walk. The event features music and entertainment, food, a chinese auction and a luminaria ceremony that lights up the track at dusk.
