Thomas J. Collins of Riverhead died March 3, 2017. He was 48 years old.
Born in Brooklyn on Nov. 13, 1968, he was the son of Thomas F. and Helen Collins.
He was an iron worker at Stony Brook Manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife Carissa, his mother Helen, his stepsons, Vincent and Dominic, his stepdaughter Antonia, his sister Suzanne Devoti and her husband Brian and his nephews, Colin and Rian Devoti.
Visitation will take place at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, 406 E. Main St., Riverhead on Monday, March 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, March 7 at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Wading River.
Interment services will be held at Calverton National Cemetery on Friday, March 10 at 11 a.m.
