Mattituck’s DECA club earns high honors at Rochester conference

Students from Mattituck High School’s Distributive Education Club (DECA) attended a four-day New York State DECA competition in Rochester this week and earned five finalist medals, a second place trophy and a third place trophy.

DECA is a competitive business and marketing club for students interested in pursuing a career in business, marketing or entrepreneurship. (See previous story.)

While at the conference, students attended leadership workshops and will participate as voting delegates for next year’s New York State DECA officers.

Chris Dolce and Katie Stumpf also attended the competition.
