Greenport High School to hold blood drive, April 21

Every person who donates blood can save the lives of three others who need it according to the American Red Cross.

Greenport High School is holding a community blood drive on April 21 at the high school in the gym from 7:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Walk-in donors are welcome, but to make an appointment please call 631-477-1950.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bring ID with signature or photo.
• Minimum weight 110 lbs.
• Age 16 – 75 (16-year-olds must have parental permission. Age 76 and over need doctor’s note)
• Eat well (low fat) & drink fluids
• No tattoos for past 12 months

All donors will receive a McDonald’s coupon for a large sandwich with every purchase. 2017_0418_Greenport_blood_Drive
