Mattituck manhandled Deer Park 14-0 at Deer Park High School yesterday.
Mattituck came to play, as they put on a clinic against Deer Park. It was 5-0 after just seven minutes into the first quarter. Deer Park, winless so far this season, tried to muster an offense several times, but it was quickly squashed by a swarming Mattituck defense. Mattituck’s passing was crisp, and set up many plays down low in the box.
Mattituck (3-4 in Div. II, 4-5 overall) next plays Bellport (3-3 in Div. II, 4-4 overall) at home tomorrow, April 20. Game time is 5 p.m.
