The Southold Historical Society is offering community members a way to give a unique gift to someone, to commemorate an occasion, or just to be a part of the museum complex. They are selling bricks which can be personalized with individual messages.
The society’s ongoing brick project is an opportunity to give a timeless gift to the community. It is also an opportunity to reconnect to your family’s roots here in Southold. A personalized brick, engraved with an inscription of your choice, will become a component of the new boxwood garden or the walkways in the heart of our historic museum complex.
Go to the website and click on the brick campaign for examples of engraved bricks. Exact placement of the bricks will be at the discretion of the Southold Historical Society.
Everyone is invited to buy a brick, either for yourself or for someone else, to commemorate special occasions such as the birth of a baby, graduations, or outstanding accomplishments.
