The Town of Southold Youth Bureau has scheduled an additional “Safe Talk” training on suicide prevention after the success of a recent training given at the Community Center in Peconic.
Suicide is the third-leading cause of death for 15- to 24-year-olds, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, after accidents and homicide.
The training is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Peconic Lane Community Center.
