A Sag Harbor woman was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated outside Eastern Long Island Hospital after hospital staff called police, according to a police press release.
Hospital staff called police at about 7 p.m. last night to report an intoxicated female was attempting to leave in her vehicle, Southold Town Police said in a press release issued early this morning.
Upon arrival an officer found Kristen Quadland, 50, in the driver’s seat of her vehicle in the hospital parking lot, police said. The vehicle’s engine was running, according to the report. Quadland was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest, police said. During the investigation she was also found to be in possession of marijuana, according to the press release.
