A Brentwood man is facing DWI and unlicensed operation charges after his vehicle was found blocking westbound traffic on Route 48 in Peconic last night.
Southold Town Police said a 1996 Nissan SUV driven by Jesus Chicas, 47, was “observed stopped on Route 48 facing northbound, obstructing both westbound travel lanes.”
Police said Chicas was found to be intoxicated, arrested and taken to police headquarters, where he as processed and held for morning arraignment.
