Mattituck fell to Center Moriches in a two-hit shutout gem pitched by Red Devils ace Liam Pulsipher.
Pulsipher fanned 10 batters on his way to a complete-game, 3-0 win over Mattituck, keeping No. 2 seed Center Moriches alive in the Class B playoffs. It was the No. 1 seed Tuckers’ first loss in post-season play. The two teams are scheduled to face off again today at 4 p.m. in Mattituck, in the Class B final.
