Photos: Orient Fire Department holds memorial ceremonies under stormy skies

A shortened version of the Orient Fire Department’s annual Memorial Day parade was held on Monday morning due to the inclement weather. Instead of the traditional march through the village, first responders, veterans and community members paid tribute to those lost in defending our country with wreath laying ceremonies at the waterfront and at several war monuments.
