For the past 30 years on the first Sunday in June, the members of the Cutchogue Fire Department have hosted a fundraising breakfast to benefit its scholarship fund.

This year’s breakfast will be held on Sunday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to noon. Junior department volunteers will man the buffet serving guests eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, french toast, pancakes, muffins, juice and coffee or tea while firefighters handle the cooking.

Through the continued support of the community, all proceeds from these breakfasts allow the Cutchogue Fire Department to award several scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors. Over the years the department has had the honor of awarding more than $75,000 in scholarships in memory of Stanley Victoria and Wayne Glover.

The CFD would like to thank the community for its continued support and help as they work together to educate the youth of the community.

Tickets for the all-you-can-eat buffet style breakfast are $8 for adults and $4 for children.
