Southold defeated East Rockaway tonight 13-5 to take the Class “C” Long Island crown.
Southold ace Dylan Clausen got the start, as the Settlers looked to avenge last year’s loss to East Rockaway. He was solid throughout, striking out batters and giving up a handful of hits.
Southold was superb at the plate, banging in 10 runs in the first three innings.
