Southold High School’s baseball season came to an end today at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, where the Settlers lost to North Salem 2-1.
The teams played to a 1-1 tie into the seventh inning, when with runners on, an errant throw to first allowed the go-ahead run to score.
Southold came up last licks but could not produce. The Settlers’ season ended with a 23-2 record.
