Gerald L. Finney of Riverhead died June 1, 2017 at Southampton Hospital. He was 83 years old.
He was born April 29, 1934 in Powhatan, Virginia to Raymond and Elsie Finney.
He worked for Crescent Duck Farms for more than 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed cars as a hobby.
Predeceased by his wife, Bernice, he is survived by his daughter Linda Francis of Virginia and one grandchild.
The family will receive visitors at the Galilee Church of God in Christ on Wednesday, June 7 from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service is scheduled at the church at 11 a.m.
McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
