Southold Police report two DWI arrests

Southold Town Police report two DWI arrests this weekend.

On Friday at 4 p.m. police arrested Maryellen Campbell, 49, of Greenport for aggravated driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Skunk Lane in Cutchogue, according to a police press release. She was held overnight for arraignment.

On Saturday just before 7 p.m. police arrested Sebastian Ferrer, 27, of Mastic on charges of driving while intoxicated/drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said Ferrer was operating a 2007 chevrolet eastbound on Route 25 and rear-ended another vehicle. A further investigation revealed Ferrer was impaired by drugs, police said. He was found to be in possession of one sublingual suboxone strip, according to the police report. He was arrested at the scene.
