Ann Agnes McQueeney (Telepan) died at her daughter’s home in Fairfield, Connecticut on June 14, 2017 at the age of 98.
She was born to John and Mary Telepan on May 19, 1919 in Windber, Pennsylvania. In 1939, she married Timothy J. McQueeney, a Navy veteran and career electrician. They raised their daughter, Carol, and their son, Timothy, and also became the surrogate parents to her brother and sister-in-law’s three boys, Donald, Johnny and Bobby.
Predeceased by her husband, Timothy, her nephews and surrogate sons, Donald and Johnny Telepan, her brothers John, Joey and Richard Telepan, her sisters, Mary Russian and Helen Killian, her grandson, Timothy, and her granddaughter, Joanne Shea Krisa, she is survived by her daughter Carol Mitchell, her son Timothy, her nephew and surrogate son, Robert Telepan, her brother George Telepan, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many other extended family members.
