Peconic Landing is hosting a free cyber security workshop. Presented by Metro NY Better Business Bureau’s general counsel Brian Rauer, the goal of the workshop is to teach business owners and non-profits about the most common security risks. Rauer explains a multi-step approach to managing risks and reducing vulnerability and learning about mistakes to avoid in order to create a culture of security.

The event takes place on June 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peconic Landing. It is free to all but requires registration to attend. Click here to register. For live streaming via a cloud-based link, email Diane Radigan, the director of resident services at Peconic Landing.

This Non-profit U event is co-sponsored by the Long Island Community Foundation and Peconic Landing.

Peconic Landing is located at 1500 Brecknock Road, Greenport NY 11944. Call (631) 477-3800 for more information.
