Put on your dancing shoes and join friends and neighbors at the Southold Historical Society complex on Sunday, July 16 at 3 p.m. for an afternoon of dance circa the early 1900s.
Don’t worry if you aren’t familiar with dances of that era. Instructors from the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Aquebogue will show you all the steps of the Turkey Trot, the Tango and the Charleston. There is no charge for the event.
While you’re there, take a tour of the WWI Homefront Exhibit in the Ann Currie Bell House to get completely in the mood.
The museum complex is located at 55200 Main Road, Southold.
