‘What’s going to happen to my healthcare?’ talk scheduled for July 13

If you have national health care insurance questions and concerns, you are not alone.  Taking Action Suffolk County is sponsoring a free non-partisan informational discussion of the health insurance issues that affect every American.

According to a press release issued by TASC, Sol Ross, a national expert on issues the Senate is grappling with right now, will lead a conversation to help attendees understand the ramifications of proposed health care legislation. He will address such questions as how pre-existing conditions will impact coverage, how the cost of health insurance may change and what mental health issues will be covered, among others. The talk is designed to help attendees navigate a changing health insurance environment.

The talk is free and open to all community members. It is scheduled for July 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Riverhead High School auditorium.
